Really I look like that!!

What a surprise I had this weekend. We were taking pictures of the family, mostly my nephew. Since I love to take photos with my fabulous Canon Rebel, i normally taking them. This weekend my sister said hand over the camera and let me take photos.
So I did. I think all about two photos got deleted. I am was not happy to see what was there. So this gives me a but more motivations to keep being healthy. Had I not delted and them empty the trash can last night. I would have posted one here.
Today is Gym night and I will make it to the gym tonight. My goal is 50 mins on cardio tonight and then 15 mins of weights. I can totally do this!
I started my day of well. I had my normal eggs and apples for breakfast, Carb free lunch of the Lazy cabbage roll and salad.
For dinner I am going to make Salmon and veggies. So I have a good plan. For some healthy meals. I know today will be a good day.
I will succeed today. I am taking it just one day at a time and today I know I can succeed.

Receipe review!!!

As many people here in Ottawa did this week I bought the NEW LoonySpoons cook book. WOW so many great recipes to try out! So last night we made the Sesame and Coconut Turkey Strips.
I used Chicken instead as that was what I had in the freezer. They were so easy to make and to find all the ingredients. Some times i find it hard to find what I need, but I had no problems cruising the grocery store aisles this time! We paired the chicken up with a salad and springs rolls and plum sauce! YUM! Everyone in the family enjoyed them right down to my 2 year old nephew.
I liked the receipe becuase it makes a quick night tastey dinner when you are busy during the week.
The other great things about this cook book is that it provides all the nutrional information and the number of portions each receipes which makes it very easy to help stay healthy !

Start of a new day

Today I woke up and thought what the heck am I doing? BrowniAdd Videoes for breakfast??? While they were homemade and super yummy .. what nutritional value am I getting from Brownies?
So Here I am deciding to dedicate my self to improving my self this year.
I need to do a few things.
  1. stop the bad eating habit ( No more brownies for breakfast)
  2. for the next 8 weeks I must no exceptions get to the gym 3 times a week. I have to make time for me and this is one way I will do it!
  3. Stop eating out! Yes Thai would be wonderful and yummy but making homemade is much better.

So eating out is defiantly a challenge and I will express everything in my blog post so stay tuned for that one.

I am not going to concentrate on weight loss , even though i could loose a few, I am going to concentrate on being healthy and weight loss second. Perhaps this way I won't self sabotage, skip days or even make up a hundred excuses why tomorrow is better day to start.
